Don ‘Doon’ Charles Keahiala Sadomiano
Don “Doon” Charles Keahiala Sadomiano passed away on Nov. 24, 2018 at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital.
He was born on Aug. 20, 1980, in Lihue.
He was preceded in death by grandparents Joe Rosare and Gladys Aryes and Dionicio and Florentina Sadomiano.
He is survived by son Tylise Sadomiano-Amorin of and daughter Teshya Sadomiano-Amorin, both of Kapaa, parents Danny (Raenette) Sadomiano and Theresa Rosare, brothers Gavin Sadomiano of Arizona and Keoni Sadomiano of Washington, stepbrothers Reef Oana of Kauai and Aaron Oana of Oahu, stepsister Shantelle Lopes of Oahu, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Dec. 15, at 11 a.m. at Hanamaulu Beach Park, with lunch to follow.
The family suggests casual attire.
Garden Island Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
Paul Sialana
Paul Sialana, 78, of Kekaha, passed away on Dec. 6, 2018.
Born on May 27, 1940 in Waimea, he was a retired IBEW electrician and former marine.
He was preceded in death by wife Rebecca Leina‘ala Kanekoa Sialana, parents Patricio and Petra Sialana, and sisters Beatrice Coleman, Kety Mahelona and Patricia Ann Sialana.
He is survived by son Paul (Lynn) Sialana, daughters Brenda (Richard) Jose and Elizabeth “Tiny” (Federico Jr.) Caberto, grandchildren Sanoi Peahu (hanai), Kaimana Jose, Micah Sialana, Uakea Jose, Ian Sialana and Zoe Sialana, brother Rudy Sialana, sister Angela Triplett, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Dec. 15, at St. Theresa Church in Kekaha from 9 to 10:45 a.m., where services will be celebrated at 11 am.
Inurnment will follow at Kauai Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe.
The family suggests aloha attire.
