Mele Tafea reigned as Kapaa High School’s Homecoming Queen, and Robert “Ali‘i” Brown came off the football field to join her as Homecoming King during the school’s homecoming celebration that ruled the halftime during the first Kauai Interscholastic Federation daytime football game of the season at Vidinha Stadium Saturday.

With Catherine Paleka and the Kapaa High School flag corps and marching band ready, the court included Leleaka Anakalea as Ms. Warrior, with escort Kiran Costa; Kahiau Gonsalves escorting Ms. Touchdown Raine Youn; Ms. Victory Keegan Kessler escorted by Caden Donnel; and Ms. Spirit Jaliyah Casem escorted by Mikey Cruz.

Neva Burkart and Connor Payomo represented the freshman class, Heleolani Yokotake and Makaio Gonsalves headed the sophomores, Courtney Rosa and Gavin Acob did the honors for the junior class, and Malia Alonzo and Riley Pezario led the senior class during the student parade that rounded the track at the stadium.
