All people deserve basic respect of councilmembers
Should not a candidate for the County Council represent all the residents of the County of Kauai?
According to news articles in TGI, there are certain candidates who do not represent long-term Kauai citizens who have chosen Kauai as their home, but did not have the blessing of being born here.
There are some of those in that category who ridicule the actions of the United States in 1893, who support the return of the Hawaiian Kingdom, and who would give up their U.S. citizenship to become a member of that kingdom.
The problem is that those residents just described probably would not be approved for membership by the council because they moved here from somewhere else in the world and remained here because of their love of the island of Kauai.

You got me confused, are you saying the Kauai County Council will not allow the people on Kauai who are not born and raised here to become citizens of the Hawaiian Kingdom? What about non-Hawaiians who are born and raised, and do you really think the pro Soveriegnty people of the Hawaiian Kingdom do Or would allow the Kauai County Coincil to determine who becomes a citizen of the Hawaiian Kingdom?
