Lane closures announced for portions of Kamalu, Olohena roads

WAILUA HOMESTEADS — The public is advised of single-lane closures on portions of Kamalu Road and Olohena Road in Wailua Homesteads that began Wednesday. This is to allow the county’s contractor, Maui Kupono Builders, to conduct road reconstruction work in the area.

Work is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, weather permitting.

Traffic will be alternated through the open lanes. Work is anticipated to be completed by late September.

Wow laulau FINALLY Olohena getting fixed! I was ready to plant flowers in all the puka and make a garden.
