Grateful for return of wallet
On July 14 I lost my wallet containing some vital identification cards and other important items needed for our everyday lives. It was lost in Kapaa and a thorough back tracking was done of the places I had been to, but nothing was found. As anyone who has lost their wallet knows, the process of renewing everything needs to begin in order to get one’s life back on track.
For me it started with canceling my credit cards, renewing my driver’s license, military ID, VA, Medicare, auto insurance, just to name a few. In a matter of two weeks my life was coming back to normal and I continued to move forward, realizing, losing your wallet with everything in it isn’t fun.
Fast forward to Sept. 8, and I receive an envelope from the US Postal Service with all my contents from my wallet, minus the few dollars that were in there, wrapped in a hair tie. Everything!
What a great surprise and a humble feeling. I had just spent the whole day in sadness, putting a long time friend to rest, and now this wonderful feeling of the goodness on Kauai. The only downer was there was no indication of who found it and returned it to the post office.
This is my sole purpose of writing this letter. Mahalo to the person/people who did this great deed of kindness and caring. I am grateful for the unselfish act on your part and hope our paths will cross someday so I can return the simple gesture of happiness you just left me.

Didn’t you mention they took all the money. That’s why they didn’t leave a name. That’s theft no matter how much lipstick you put on it
A few dollars to cover the post, a glass 1/2 full is better than a mule kick.
