Peter John Borrero

Peter John Borrero, Jr., 79 years old, of Lihue, Kauai, passed away at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Aug. 28, 2018. Born on April 12, 1939, on Oahu, Hawaii, he was a retired superintendent.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine Borrero; son, Donley Borrero; parents , Peter and Annie Borrero, Sr.; brothers, Phillip, Richard, Raymond Borrero; sister, Posie Reese

He is survived by his sons, Derek (Michele) Borrero, Darrell (Kris) Borrero; 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sylvia Troche, Matilda Yaris; brother, Rudy Borrero; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may visit with the family on Friday, Sept. 14, 2018, at Borthwick/Kauai Mortuary chapel in Koloa from 9: to 9:45 a.m. where services will be celebrated at 10 a.m. There will be a luncheon to follow on the lanai and an inurnment at 2:00 pm at Kauai Memorial Gardens. Family suggests casual attire.

Ikaika Kam

Ikaika Kam passed away on July 30, 2018. He was a commercial fisherman and owner of Kauai Fish Market.

He is survived by wife, Kimberly; sons, Milo and Kash; parents, Maco Waialeale, Judy Rosario Cabral, Abraham Kam; brothers, Jesse (Binky) Goo, Kainoa (Mahea) Goo, Christopher Kim, Storm (Ivory) Kam, Shane Mahina Vanatta Kam, Abraham Kealii Vanatta Kam, Damien Cabral; sister, Nani Cabral.

A celebration of life in Honolulu on Sept. 15, at 11 a.m. at Kailua Beach Park and a celebration of Life on Sept. 29, at 11 a.m. at Kalihiwai Bay. Paddle out and scattering of ashes at 2:30 p.m. in Kalihiwai.

Borthwick/Kauai Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements.
