KAPAA — Jim Jung will be talking about his connection with the dropping of the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki Sunday at the Kapaa Hongwanji Mission starting at 9 a.m.

Jung, recently awarded a Kauai Museum Living Treasure honor, also developed a connection with Sadako Sasaki, a 12-year-old girl who died of leukemia, a condition she developed as a result of the bomb. She was 2 years old when the bomb was dropped on Hiroshima on Aug. 6, 1945.

The public is invited to join him in his presentation that will also include slides.
