Congratulations to Edwin Vea and The Beach House Restaurant crew on another successful craft fair (Annette Hashimoto of Kaila Kauai said it was a “George’s Day!”) Saturday in Poipu!
Congratulations to Edwin Vea and The Beach House Restaurant crew on another successful craft fair (Annette Hashimoto of Kaila Kauai said it was a “George’s Day!”) Saturday in Poipu!
Annette had her grandson, Ky Rita, visiting the booth and enjoying “George’s Day” in a makeshift pool since everyone was too busy working to take Ky to the ocean.
Jessica Clabo had her other hat on, enjoying the ocean backdrop, selling dichroic glass jewelry and talking story with Minnesotans Caroline and Catherine Nelson (could it have been Neilsen?). Jessica is originally from Minnesota so there was a lot to catch up on between customers.
Kudos to Thomas Daubert, Jovalarie Gonzalez and the Anaina Hou ohana (even Ruthchelle Melchor — she’s a former Miss Kauai Filipina!) on another great Kilauea Night Market at the Kauai Mini Golf facility where former Honolulu Advertiser celeb Rick Carroll was hanging out, checking the green-on-green and that spider web that graced the stage entertainers.
Mahalo to Greg Askew and Candace Boxer (did you make the bon dance at the Waimea Shingon Mission?) on not running out of Ono Pops (the lychee ones — hurry, the season’s running out — were only available at the Beach House Craft Fair!) on “George’s Day.”
See what you missed out, Dean Okayama? You can always get photos down the road later!
