Tia Takasaki couldn’t attend the scholarship luncheon hosted by the Kauai Government Employees Federal Credit Union because she was reigning as the May Day queen at Kapaa High School during the Warriors’ May Day celebration May 4 (it was also Older Americans Day here on Kauai).
