Meghan Markle is remarkable

The most influential, and best example of America, as it truly is and what it really represents is about to be launched in a position of power that can be equaled by no other in this country. This person, multi-racial, multi-ethnic and multi-talented, exemplifies what it means to be a true American in the truest sense.

This person singlehandedly erases the “Ugly-American,” “Racial-American” and “America-Bully” stereotype, merely with her presence, bearing, demeanor, graciousness, calm and decorum. She is vivacious, witty, respectful, but stands her ground quietly with a blazing and glorious smile.

She is the antithesis of everything that is wrong with this country, and everything that is good. She does, in essence, make us shine again. If anyone is making America great again, it is most certainly her, this lovely young woman who beams hope, energy and sparkle.

Her ascension in history is about to overshadow even the election of President Obama, although that event does stand on an equal footing in many ways. She is upending a country on its head, changing the rules of the game, and ushering a new era worldwide that shatters glass ceilings and norms in a way that presidents can only dream of.

In many ways, this wonderful woman will far surpass presidents of America in her ability to shape and create the way the world currently sees America. She will best represent the spirit, the soul, the heart, the hope, the joy and the resilience of a people that have never been cowed by the impossible, but have always been able to make the impossible happen.

And this woman has certainly accomplished that. She has made the impossible commonplace, as countries around the world will hail her marriage to a prince of peace. A man who is a Renaissance man, a man’s man, a kind man, a progressive man, a charitable man, a man who shines and glows like his mother did. A man who also represents the best of what his country has to offer.

The marriage of Meghan and Harry will finally put the stamp on the modern world that says “We will not go backwards.” No matter what is going on in the world, the planet will take a collective sigh of joy when these two ascend into the abbey to take their vows and shatter the world in more ways then one.

This, no politician can aspire to. Only the commonality of man can truly change the world. We all take heart from this and pause in our collective grief over world events and wallow in the hope that is the union of these two remarkable people. The best of what our country, and the world can hope for if we but stand together as one people and not divided.
