The Menehune of the Kauai Interscholastic Federation defeated Honokaa of the Big Island Interscholastic Federation, 5-3, in five innings in a consolation game Thursday afternoon at McKinley High School on Oahu.
Waimea will play either Kapaa, also of the KIF, or Molokai of the Maui Interscholastic League in the fifth place game at 2:15 p.m. today at Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium in Honolulu.
Kapaa played Molokai in a consolation game Thursday evening. Result of that game was not available by press time.
