Capt. Stephen ‘Kent’ Crosby
Capt. Stephen “Kent” Crosby, 70, of Lawai, passed away on Feb. 28, 2018, at Wilcox Medical Center.
Born on Feb. 10, 1948, in Little Rock, Arkansas, he was a retired senior adult probation officer, and served in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by parents John T. (Helen) Crosby and brother Stan Crosby, all of Arkansas.
He is survived by wife Camellia Ditch-Crosby of Lawai, stepson Stanley (Lydia) K. Dotario Jr. of Kalaheo, stepdaughters Ramona (Bernie) Agor of Kekaha and Leah (Lance) Dotario of Lihue, step-grandchildren Justin Dotario, Taira (Zak) De La Rosa, Keith (Annie) Nonaka, Kasey Nonaka, Branden (Taelynn) Scovel, Aleigha “Red” Scovel, Jenna Scovel, Keanu Dotario and Micah Scovel, step-great-grandchildren Camron, Khloe and Zander, brother Scott (Amanda) Crosby of Little Rock, Arkansas, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, April 14, at Garden Island Mortuary chapel in Lawai from 9 to 10:45 a.m., where services will be celebrated at 11 a.m. An inurnment will be held at a later date.
The family suggests casual attire.

Leon Padilla Nacapuy
Leon Padilla Nacapuy, 81, of Waimea, passed away on March 24, 2018, at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital.
Born on July 2, 1936, in Lanao Bongio, Lanao Bangui, Philippines, he was a retired drip irrigator with the Kekaha Sugar Company.
He was preceded in death by father Pantaleon Nacapuy, mother Generosa Nacapuy, brother Angel Nacapuy and daughter Leoriza Nacapuy.
He is survived by wife Rizalina “Saling” Nacapuy of Waimea, sons Ernesto (Annie Fe) Nacapuy of Kauai and Leonilo (Loida) Nacapuy of Honolulu, daughters Delia (Roger) Pillos of Kauai, Belinda (Maurice) Pancho of Kauai and Joann (Glenn Agtunong) Nacapuy of Kauai, grandchildren Ernest, Joey and Cassandra Nacapuy, Roger, Jay and Chad Pillos, Jonathan and Jennifer Pancho, Christine Galang, Catherine Nacapuy and Galen Agtunong, great-grandchildren Colin, Jonah and Chaysen Nacapuy, Kaezlyn Batis, Thaireef and Mason Pillos, Kaeden Pancho-Silva and Lily SungWoo, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held on Saturday, April 14, at St. Theresa Church. Visitation with the family will be from 9 to 10:15 a.m., and services begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at the Kekaha Public Cemetery.

Brandon Pagala
Brandon Pagala, 33, passed away on March 28, 2018.
He was born on Sept. 4, 1984.
He was preceded in death by father Jose Pagala Sr., paternal grandparents Roman and Anacleta Pagala, and maternalgrandfather Marcelo Halog Sr.
He is survived by mother Adela Pagala of Kekaha, grandmother Aidalida “Aida” Halog of Kekaha, brothers Freddy (Julie)Patricio of Kekaha, Danny “Opo” Patricio of Kekaha, Kaipo Pagala of Oahu, Jose (Rosa) Pagala Jr. of San Diego and Lester Pagala of Kekaha, sisters Vicky (Chris) Dias of Maui and Ester Pagala of the Big Island, and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends and family may visit with the family on Friday, April 13, at Garden Island Mortuary chapel in Lawai from 5 to 9 p.m.,with a 6:30 p.m. prayer service and cremation to follow, and again on Saturday, April 14, at Holy Cross Church in Kalaheo, from 9 to 10:15 a.m., where Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m.
