Joseph ‘Juny’ Yadao
Joseph “Juny” Yadao, 74, of Kilauea, passed away on March 11, 2018, at Straub Hospital.
He was born on July 7, 1943, in Honolulu.
He was preceded in death by parents Timoteo and Eutropia Yadao, Maria Cabacungan, Jose Villegas, brothers Bernard Yadao, Jose Yadao, Raymondo Yadao, Walter Villegas and Larry Villegas, sisters Esmenia “Essie” Belmonte and Christina “Katy” Constantino.
He is survived by wife Theresa (Villanueva) Yadao of Kilauea, daughter Lauralee Yadao (Daniel La‘a) of Kilauea, son Jacob Yadao of Kilauea, grandson Dawson Fo, stepmother Helen Villegas of Oahu, brothers Patrick Villegas of Oahu, Doug Villegas of Oahu and Joey Villegas of Texas, sisters Josephine Asuncion of Kilauea, Francis (Modesto) Bilog of California, Mary Lee of Texas, Lora Villegas of Oahu, Patricia Villegas of Georgia, Casey Villegas of Oahu and Betty Johnson of Texas, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, hanai children, grandchildren and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 7, at St. Sylvester Church in Kilauea, with visitation from 8 to 9:45 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. A scattering of ashes will be held on Sunday, April 8, at 11 a.m. at Anini Beach Park.
The family requests casual attire.
Juanita Amoroso Agu
Juanita Amoroso Agu, 83, of Kaneohe, Oahu, passed away on March 3, 2018, at Aloha Nursing &Rehab Centre.
She was born in Koloa on May 15, 1934, and was retired from PMRF as a gas station attendant.
She was preceded in death by husband Tiburcio Agu, parents Vincente and Marcela Amoroso, brother Frank Amorozo, brothers-in-law Eduardo Malapit and Larry Phillips.
She is survived by daughter Renita (Keith) Yoshikawa of Kailua, Oahu, sons Vernon Agu of Oklahoma City, Dominic (Wendy) Agu of Hanapepe and Benedict (Jackie) Agu of Eleele, brother William (Mitronia) Amoroso of Oahu, sisters Elizabeth Malapit of Kauai and Rose Phillips of California, sister-in-law Carol Amorozo of Oahu, grandchildren Vincent (Becky Haines) Hill, Ryan (Clente) Takiguchi, Robert (Amnesty Taylor) Agu, Kevin Agu, Bransen Agu, Bristy-Ann Briggs and Brycen Agu, step-grandchildren Sky (Kimo) Sakata, Carin Yoshikawa and Shawn Arrisgado, great-grandchildren Aiyden, Ivy Malia Agu-Hill, Camden, Aiden and Quinn Takiguchi, step-great-grandchildren Brooke and Hunter Sakata and Nykki Takaki, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on April 14, at St Raphael Church in Koloa from 8 to 9:45 a.m. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Kauai Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe.

Joseph Fielding Blevins
Joseph Fielding Blevins, 69, passed away on March 28, 2018, in Lihue. Internment will be April 7 at Laie Cemetery, 55-710 Wahinepee St., Laie, Oahu.
He was born June 3, 1948, in Honolulu, to Nathan H. K. Blevins and Elsie A.K. Blevins. He was the second of six siblings: Brigham, Wendy (Sing), Lynn (Villaverde), Ann and Nathan Jr.
He graduated from Kahuku High School in 1968, from BYU-H with a bachelor’s degree in math, and from the University of Utah with a master’s degree in engineering ADM). He taught math, electrical and building contracting, and was a consultant. He also loved living a life of service to his Lord Jesus Christ, family, and friends. He was a missionary in the South West Indian mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He is survived by his wife Yolanda Evalani Akita (Blevins), children Natalee Pumehana (Webb) and Joseph Kekoa, and grandchilren Ethan, Mahina, Tyler, Blake, Athena and Alexander.
Elizabeth Ann Oyamot
Elizabeth Ann (Rapozo) Oyamot of Makaweli passed away on March 5, 2018, at Wilcox Medical Center, at the age of 82.
She was born on Sept. 27, 1935, in Hanamaulu. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, husband Severino “German” Oyamot, parents Daniel Rapozo and Roseline Silva Malaia Rapozo Rodrigues, daughter-in-law Helena Yadao Oyamot, hanai sons Charles “Eddie” Fu and William “Billy” Keale.
She is survived by daughters Rowena (Calvin) Fukushima and Wenda (Chuck) Moon, sons Rodney (Josie) Oyamot, Mansfield (Noreen) Oyamot, Malcolm (Faith Melandish) Oyamot and Jonathan (Marietta) Oyamot, grandchildren, Elizabeth Rabelas (Joe) Kelling, Jaime (Bryce) Rabelas, Macey (Brad) Walleen, Nalu Erikson (Ciarra) Walleen, Pua (James) Taylor Britt, Jerene (Wesley) Oyamot Manuel, Brandee (Kunane) Turalde, Taysia (Brendan) Oyamot and Jayson (Emily) Oyamot, step-grandchildren Maren and Jason Rasay, hanai grandchildren Chas Fu, Anela Fu and Chris Fu, fur grand pup Ma‘ili, brother Donald (Frances) Rapozo, sisters Bernice Hiranaka, Clara Nuivo, Florence (Lucky) Oyamot, Gwen Zaima, Priscilla (Bob) Rego, Bernadette (Griffen) Hodges and Beverly Rapozo, 21 great-grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 8 to 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 21, at Sacred Heart of Jesus and Mary Church in Waimea. Mass will follow at 10 a.m. with Father EJ Resinto officiating. The ohana requests casual attire, that standing wreaths be omitted, and welcomes flower lei.

Pauline Medwid Brown
Pauline Medwid Brown, 99, of Kapaa, passed away in Wilcox Medical Center on March 30, 2018. She was born in Canada on Feb. 6, 1919, and retired as a lieutenant naval nurse.
She is survived by nieces Barbara, Debbie, KK and Sandy, nephews John and Ashley, great-nephews Dane Neifert and Cole Neifert, Jeffrey, Todd and Scott, and great-niece Melissa.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, April 12, at Kauai Memorial Gardens &Funeral Home, with visitation from 10 a.m. and services beginning at 11 a.m.
Inurnment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in Southern California.

Ludevico ‘Jackie’ Pigao
Ludevico “Jackie” Pigao, 81, of Eleele, passed away on Feb. 12, 2018, at his home in Eleele.
Born on Jan. 13, 1937, in Hanapepe, he was a lieutenant ARFF firefighter, and served in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his soul mate JoAnne Salazar, Jiji Inosuke Tsuji, Baba Sina Tsuji, father Jose Pigao Sr., mother Alice Matsue Pigao, sister-in-law Joanne Parages Pigao, and brother-in-law MacArthur DelaCruz.
He is survived by sons Rick (Melissa) Salazar of Washington and Raymond (Lahea) Salazar of Koloa, nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, brothers Jose (Rosie) Pigao of Eleele, Donald Pigao of Kekaha and Ronnie Pigao of California, sisters Rosita (Jerry) Sakamoto of Waimea, Big Island, Linda DelaCruz of Kekaha, Gail (Wayne “Buddie”) Ayudan of Kekaha and Jennie Fe (Rommel) Manansala of Honolulu, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday April 21, at Kauai Veterans Cemetery maintenance shed from 9 to 9:45 a.m., where services will be celebrated at 10 a.m.

Leon Padilla Nacapuy, 81, of Waimea, passed away on March 24, 2018, at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital.
Born on July 2, 1936 in Lanao Bongio, Lanao Bangui, Philippines, he was a retired drip irrigator for Kekaha Sugar Company.
He was preceded in death by father Pantaleon Nacapuy, mother Generosa Nacapuy, brother Angel Nacapuy and daughter Leoriza Nacapuy.
He is survived by wife Rizalina “Saling” Nacapuy of Waimea, sons Ernesto (Annie Fe) Nacapuy of Kauai and Leonilo (Loida) Nacapuy of Honolulu, daughters Delia (Roger) Pillos of Kauai, Belinda (Maurice) Pancho of Kauai and Joann (Glenn Agtunong) Nacapuy of Kauai, grandchildren Ernest Joey, Cassandra Nacapuy, Roger, Jay and Chad Pillos, Jonathan and Jennifer Pancho, Christine Galang, Catherine Nacapuy and Galen Agtunong, great-grandchildren Colin, Jonah, Chaysen Nacapuy, Kaezlyn Batis, Thaireef, Mason Pillos, Kaeden Pancho-Silva and Lily SungWoo, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
