I am sure we will hear proposals on how to spend more money on the so called “homeless problem”. I would rather see priorities put on taking care of our residents vs transients who just come here to be warm. Sure, why be homeless in Minneapolis? The more we spend on homeoness to make their stay inviting and pleasant, the word gets out and in they come. We will never, ever have enough affordable housing and solutions to the homeless problem The words Hawaii and Affordable just do not go together. Its also warm in Arizona and they have scores of sand and open space. It might not be a bad idea to put together a program to pay for air fair to get them back to their home where they have family and friends.
