POIPU — The Kauai Filipino Chamber of Commerce formally inducted its 2018 board and leaders, and presented recognition awards to community individuals and organizations for their respective efforts Saturday during the gala at the Koloa Landing Resort.
Laurie Yoshida was sworn in as the new KFCC president, taking over from Bobby Ayonon who led the group since 2015.
More than a hundred people took advantage of the gala with a buffet dinner and ample time for networking and getting to know business organizations. Entertainment was provided by Fasey Kamakane.
