Kristina Lamb, a construction safety engineer, and Karin Shirazi, a nurse, both from Canada, work on creating the guides for the studs which will form the walls of a Kauai Habitat for Humanity home, Wednesday at the Kauai Habitat baseyard in Hanapepe.

HANAPEPE — Work on 17 homes for the Kauai Habitat for Humanity Eleele Iluna, Phase 2A started Wednesday with the arrival of Team Currie-Kauai 2018 Global Village group.
