The Kauai All Island Band, under the leadership of Sarah Tochiki and Kevin Toma finished the Holiday Bowl competition with a first place finish in the parade division, Dec. 28 in San Diego, California.

Competing in the field show competition in the Class AA category, the Kauai All Island Band finished third below Basha Band, a group from Arizona, and the Lahainaluna High School band who finished second in the event contested on Dec. 27.
The Kauai All Island Band rebounded for its first finish in the parade competition over Lahainaluna and Basha.
The group returns home Tuesday on United Airlines at 8:19 tonight.
