Wow! It’s the weekend before Christmas already! Uncle John Kaneholani had the Kapaa High School junior varsity (and some varsity) basketball players working through Winter Ball preps after the basketball game (how did we know that Curtis Broyles was going to be there?), and Kauai Police Department officer Bobby Thompson might have to pilot that Incident Command vehicle for the Shop With A Cop at Kmart (boy, with this Christmas weather, it’s hard to get up, early!)

According to the banner at The Tree Tunnel (Maluhia Road for the more formal people), Edwin Vea is having a Beach House craft fair Saturday (gotta print those banners bigger so we can see the time while watching for cars), and Sherri Holcomb is doing the Kauai Marriott Resort and Beach Club (good time to check out their Holiday decorations!) Christmas craft fair to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network on Friday featuring bento style lunches prepared by Chef Guy Higa and his culinary crew.
Mahalo to Fran Roach and the Hokuala Ocean Course (congratulations on being named the Top Golf Course in North America by the Golf World Awards!) for that shirt which is the St. Catherine School (congratulations to the CyberSaints and The Holy Hammer for getting third place at the First Tech Challenge!) colors.
