Lilah Hamid takes 10s in Hanalei

Lilah Hamid bested Chloe Hannsz and Rain Hannsz to claim top honors in the 10-and-under class of the Hanalei Bay Resort’s Fourth annual Junior Tennis Tournament which wrapped up Dec. 9 at the resort’s tennis courts.

“These kids work hard and train all year for this tournament,” said Mary Dang-Hannsz, the PBI tennis professional. “They’re already encouraged for next year’s tournament.”

Moving up the food chain, Brody Hamilton claimed the 12-and-under girls division over Serena Bryan, and Brennan Corregedor bested Sawyer Rogoff for top honors in the 12-and-under boys class.

Hi‘ilani Williams downed Lucas Weston-Webb for top honors in the 14-and-under division.

The Hanalei Bay Resort tennis courts is ranked one of the Top 50 tennis resorts in the world, offering ideal tropical tennis getaways for players of all levels with resurfaced courts, four hard courts, and four artificial courts.
