LIHUE — Kauai Gymnastics Academy will present its 13th annual Christmas exhibition Dec. 10 starting at 1 p.m. at Kukui Grove Center.
LIHUE — Kauai Gymnastics Academy will present its 13th annual Christmas exhibition Dec. 10 starting at 1 p.m. at Kukui Grove Center.
This year’s theme is “Surf City!” Over 35 gymnasts will perform, including special guests — two-time and current world champion tandem surfers Kalani Vierra and Krystl Apeles.
Team members range in age from 6 to 17 years old.
The youngest team is called Iki Hui (small team), the middle team is Hoku Hui (star team), and the highest level team is Kula Hui (gold team). They work out between two to six hours a week depending on their skill level.
Kauai Gymnastics Academy is located in the Puhi Industrial Park. The winter session starts Jan. 8.
