Elsie Abigail Pahia of Anahola, Kauai, Hawaii, formerly of Oahu, passed away on Dec. 9, 2015, at the age of 92. Born on Sept. 1, 1923, on Kauai, she was employed as a housekeeper at Kauai Surf Hotel.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Myrtle Ornellas.
She is survived by son, Henry (Rowena) Ornellas, Oahu; daughters, Katherine (Samuel) Huddy, Oahu, Patsy (Francis) Hapenney, Oahu; hanai son, Daniel Kama; sister, Bessie Laster, California; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Her celebration of life will be on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2015, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kapaa Ward.
There will be a visitation at 9 a.m. with service at 10 a.m. and burial to follow at Keapana Cemetery.
