The air raid warning signal is one long and one short which will be sounded by your mill whistle or by siren.
The all clear signal is two long blasts.
1. Prepare for possible air raids by digging a shallow pit in the yard of your house in which you may take shelter.
2. When the air raid warning is sounded get under cover at once either in your shallow back yard pit or in a ditch in the field.
3. Get off the road immediately, if you are driving a car.
4. Keep out of crowds.
5. Keep your children under control Know where they are at all times.
